LYNX Charge – Support of the Formula Student Alpe Adria event

For the second year in a row, the electric sweeper LYNX Charge was part of the Formula Student Alpe Adria competition.

On the kart racing track St. Rauš in Novi Marof (northern Croatia) the competition FS Alpe Adria took place from August 23 to 28. 1200 students participated in 46 teams from 18 countries from all over the world. All teams compete in designing and building prototype racing cars. A big news was that the event itself, from this year, is the official event of the international Formula Student competition. At the event, RASCO was represented by a team from R&D, production and HR together with LYNX Charge, an electric sweeper.

Formula Student

Formula Student is an international competition for student teams to design, build and test prototype racing cars. The cars and their production are judged according to the rules established by IMECHE (Institution of Mechanical Engineers) and SAE (Association of Automotive Engineers).

Formula Student Alpe Adria is part of this international project and aims to educate students, develop new technologies and expand the network in the STEM field..


RASCO supports FS Alpe Adria for the second year in a row, and this year also supported the FSB racing team of the University of Zagreb. RASCO’s electric sweeper LYNX Charge was again welcomed with enthusiasm by all participants. Every time it entered the track, it was greeted with an ovation. The young future engineers wanted to know everything about the vehicle systems, technical and functional features, development process, sales and marketing. The RASCO team had their hands full the whole time, whether answering all the questions or sweeping the track so that the race cars could complete their tests safely and successfully.
