RASCO wins Lider Award for sustainable development

The investment ventures of eleven Croatian companies, including RASCO, were crowned on Wednesday, 23 October 2019, at the Lider Invest awards and recognitions held at the Westin Hotel in Zagreb.

RASCO received an award in the ECO Lider Invest category for the LYNX compact sweeper, which will also be available in an electric version. The company collaborates with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb on this project. The total value of the investment is HRK 30 million and is partly co-financed by EU funds from the Operational Programme Competitiveness and Cohesion (OPCC).

Nominations of investments for this award ended in early October, and investment forums were held in Koprivnica, Otočac, Split and Vukovar during this period. The mission of the project is to recognize and promote investments that create jobs, increase exports and create added value, and, by their example and lessons learned, reinforce the confidence in the institutional and legal frameworks needed to create a positive atmosphere that will attract future investors.
