We started to produce our own electricity

Our growth and development is based on manufacturing of machines for road maintenance, development of advanced technologies in the accompanying industry and responsibility towards our employees and the local community

Everything we do today is left as a legacy to our future generations, so it is our responsibility to leave them with a sustainable ecosystem.

That is why we are very proud that our first solar power plant RASCO 1 has successfully started working. The solar power plant is located on the roofs of two out of five RASCO production halls.

Producing electric energy from renewable sources also marks our contribution to environmental conservation because the solar power plant will reduce CO2 emissions by more than one hundred tonnes per year.

The power plant has a power of 442 kW, and will produce around 460,000 kWh of electricity each year, most of which will be used for the RASCO operation. The generated energy from our own power plant will cover almost half of our total electricity demand on an annual basis.

This project marks an important step forward within our long-term cost reduction strategy and sustainable development. The solar power plant is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund under the Operational programme competitiveness and cohesion 2014-2020.
