LYNX 5000 H2 WORLD PREMIÈRE AT THE IFAT FAIR IN MUNICH RASCO PRESENTS THE FIRST 5 m3 HYDROGEN-POWERED SWEEPER
The IFAT trade fair, which takes place every two years in Munich, has become an ideal opportunity for RASCO to present important additions to its product portfolio. This year is no exception. The sustainable use of resources and thus climate protection continues to be the main theme at IFAT Munich, which takes place at the exhibition grounds in Munich from 13 to 17 May 2024. Sustainability is an important part of RASCO’s strategy. Therefore, IFAT provides the perfect setting to talk about RASCO innovations and solutions related to reducing the environmental impact of RASCO products, which are at the centre of RASCO’s trade fair activities.
RASCO’s vehicles, in particular the LYNX compact sweepers, once again present significant innovations in the product portfolio. As one of the fastest growing companies in the municipal sector, RASCO is presenting a technological sensation in Munich – the LYNX H2 5000 hydrogen-powered sweeper!
The LYNX H2 5000 represents a revolution in urban cleaning technology and demonstrates the potential of hydrogen fuel cell technology in terms of sustainability. At the same time, LYNX sweepers are designed to maximise performance, comfort, functionality and autonomy.

In addition, the sweeper can carry over 10 kg of hydrogen under a pressure of up to 700 bar, an advanced technology rarely found even in the automotive industry,” explained CEO Ivan Franicevic, emphasising that RASCO stands out as one of the fastest growing companies in urban cleaning technology, uniquely positioned as the only significant player that has overcome local boundaries over the last 30 years and made a name for itself on the global stage with this particular type of equipment.
In addition to the new LYNX H2 5000 sweeper, other products from the RASCO vehicle range are also represented at IFAT. Visitors can see the electrically powered LYNX Charge 5000 and the first RASCO compact sweeper, the smaller LYNX 2000. The multifunctional MUVO vehicle is presented with a KKM front boom mower as one of the configuration options for this strong, powerful and agile implement carrier.
RASCO is also presenting “flagships” of its core portfolio, which represent solutions for winter road maintenance: the SOLID spreader with “slurry” mixing system, the TRP tractor spreader, versatile MOSOR snow plough and user-friendly RASCO control units.
