Visit RASCO at the IFAT trade fair in Munich from May 30 to June 03

The IFAT trade fair, held every two years in Munich, has become an ideal opportunity for RASCO to present important additions to its product portfolio. This year is no exception. In addition to the presentation of several machines from the winter maintenance range, RASCO's vehicles will take centre stage.

After not taking place in 2020 due to the Covid 19 pandemic, IFAT is back. The sustainable use of resources and thus climate protection is the main theme of IFAT Munich, which will be held from May 30 to June 3, 2022, at the exhibition centre in Munich. Sustainability is an important part of RASCO’s strategy. Therefore, this particular IFAT theme provides the perfect background to talk about the new LYNX Charge electric sweeper, which will be the focus of RASCO’s activities at the fair.

RASCO’s vehicles will be the focus of the RASCO booth this year: MUVO, the multifunctional vehicle celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and the new bestsellers, the compact sweepers LYNX and LYNX Charge. We believe that the LYNX Charge, an electric sweeper presented at our booth, will be of particular interest to our visitors.

The urgent need to move beyond fossil fuel powered machinery needs no further discussion. Electrically powered vehicles are one of several technologies that must be adopted to achieve this goal. The biggest obstacle in the street sweeper industry has been ensuring sufficient working autonomy to clean an entire shift without having to stop to recharge. LYNX Charge overcomes this challenge in two ways. First, it has one of the largest batteries in its class. Battery integration has been achieved without compromising other vehicle features such as manoeuvrability or hopper capacity. Second, LYNX Charge uses every available watt of power with maximum efficiency.

All-electric sweepers in municipal maintenance are helping to limit greenhouse gas emissions globally. At the local level, they provide less air pollution and much less noise pollution from sweeper operations. We at RASCO are very pleased to be part of the joint effort towards a more sustainable environment.

In addition to its vehicle lineup, RASCO will also showcase innovations in its core product portfolio. The “flagship” of RASCO’s SOLID spreader line will be on display with the “Slurry” mixing system. “Slurry” is a mixture of salt and water that is mixed on the fly by an integrated high-speed mixer and delivers a higher residual salinity than other known de-icing and anti-icing methods.

SOLID and TRP spreaders and the new Viter snow plough, which will be on display at the RASCO booth will be complemented by the new generation of RASCO control units, which feature improved user-friendliness (new hardware and software, faster response, better map processing, etc.), will also be presented.

If you will be in Munich between May 30 and June 3, visit Messe München and RASCO booth 304 in Hall C6. We look forward to seeing you there.
